Golf Etiquette
-
Check the scorecard to learn any local rules.
-
Local rules apply only to the specific course you are playing.
-
We encourage "Ready Golf". If you aren't ready to play when it is your turn, encourage one of your fellow players to play.
-
After hitting your shot, rake the area you played from, as well as all your footprints and any others within reach.
-
Rakes should be left either in or nearby the bunker.
-
Important to repair any pitch marks or indentations caused by the ball hitting the green.
-
Using a tee, knife, key or repair tool, repair the mark by working the edges towards the center, without lifting the center of the mark. Don't tear the grass. Finish by smoothing the area with a club or your foot. Try to get the area smooth enough to putt over.

Golf Cars
-
Never drive the car within hazard boundary lines, or within about 10 yards of water hazards or bunkers, or within about 25 yards of greens (unless you're on a designated cart path, of course). These areas are especially susceptible to damage by the wheels of golf cars. Never drive onto or close to tee boxes, either, unless on the cart path.
-
Never drive the car through mud, on or off the fairway.
-
Never drive through casual water on any part of the golf course (unless it's a little bit of water over a paved cart path). The wheels of the car can do serious damage to the turf, including leaving ruts, in wet areas.
-
Never go joyriding in the golf car. In other words, don't act stupid! People do get injured in golf car accidents.

Dress Code Policy
-
Men: Shirts must be worn at all times and collars are required. Tank tops and athletic attire are not permitted.
-
Women: Backless and bare midriff garments are not permitted.
-
All players: short shorts, cutoffs, metal spikes and athletic cleats are prohibited.

Check In
Golfers must check in with the Pro shop prior to play. All players must have their own bag and set of clubs. Need to rent clubs? Ask for details at the Pro Shop, or call (413) 443-5746 to reserve equipment in advance. All play is to begin on the #1 tee unless instructed otherwise by golf shop personnel.
Pace of Play Policy
All groups are expected to maintain a pace of play of 2 ¼ hours for nine holes and 4 ½ hours for 18 holes or less. Groups not maintaining this pace and losing position with the group immediately in front of them may be required to pick up and resume their original position. Groups not able to maintain pace after being moved up will forfeit the balance of their round. It is the responsibility of each individual and each group to maintain this pace of play, there are no refunds or rain checks issued for any holes or portions of holes missed when group is required by course personnel to resume their original position.
Group Outings
Fifteen or more players are considered a group—contact the Pro Shop at (413) 443-5746 for more information on available dates, cart fees, and green fees.
Food and Beverage
All food and beverages must be purchased from the course. The introduction of food and beverages to the golf course and grounds is prohibited. No alcohol is permitted in the parking lot, golf cart or on the golf course.
Children
Children under six are not permitted on the golf course or driving range at any time.
Severe Weather Policy
When the air horn sounds (one long blast), all play is suspended and golfers should return to clubhouse as quickly and safely as possible. Play remains suspended until golf pro or his staff signifies that play can resume. Golfers are ultimately responsible for their own safety and should suspend play when dangerous conditions exist, even if the alarm has not sounded.

All rain checks expire 30 days from date of issue.
-
No rain checks for twilight rounds.
-
Rain check cannot be redeemed for cash, food & beverage or pro shop merchandise.
